It was during 1990 that the Internet became the focus for businesses. Ralph was the visionary behind IneedAvacation.com, responsible for transforming a small, family-owned, local retail travel agency into one of Disney's Premier Travel Providers. By transitioning the business from a traditional "brick and mortar" operation, to a web-based ecommerce model during the early days of Internet commerce, the business realized sales increases of over 1500% in just the first year on the web. The site first premiered on Compuserve in the early 90's.

In 1996, Internet 5 was born as an independent consultancy specializing in Information Technology software solutions development. The businesses first client was ALLDATA Corporation, where Ralph was hired as Project Development Coordinator for RepairShops.com, an R&D project that developed a Vertical Portal for the Auto Repair Industry.

In 1998, Ralph became one of six founders of AUTOVIA Corporation. Autovia was a privately held Business-to-Business DOT COM startup, backed by $32 Million in venture capital funding, that specialized in automating the $5+ Billion auto parts distribution market via the Internet.

In 2001, Ralph joined Synergex International as Director of Product Management and Software Development where he was the primary visionary behind VisualSmart, the web's first OLAP Analytics solution offered in an Application Service Provider business model. This Java product was integrated with SalesForce.com data to provide CRM Analytics to SalesForce's customers for Marketing, Sales and Support.

In 2004, Ralph returned to consulting as Internet 5 Technology Solutions, most recently completing a .NET document workflow automation project for the Sacramento County Probation and an Education Course Schedule Management Application for the Central California Safety Council.
